- All visitors must be 18 or older.
- Inpatient visiting hours are Monday - Sunday, 11 a.m. 7 p.m. Holiday visiting hours are 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
- Only one visitor per day is allowed at a time during visiting hours for inpatients.
- For patients on Comfort Measures, two visitors at a time with times managed by the care team are allowed.
- 病人 who are at End-of-Life (who are likely to pass away within 24 hours), including COVID-19-positive patients: Up to four family members may visit the patient, with visit times managed by the care team.
- Pediatric patients are allowed two parents/guardians.
- Obstetrics: One support person can be present at all times. A second support person is allowed during labor and deliver.

Due to social distancing requirements, one adult companion per patient is allowed, but we encourage individuals to come alone if they can.
Some things that are not changing include:
- Screening of patients and visitors entering MaineGeneral facilities will continue

- Social distancing remains in effect
- Sanitize your hands before and after leaving the patient's room
- Only one visitor is allowed with a patient in outpatient areas and the ED, but the visitor can swap out if appropriate. Exceptions are coordinated with department leadership for patients requiring special assistance.
- No visitors are allowed on 3 South due to the congregate living guidelines.
- No visitors are allowed for COVID-19-positive patients or patients under investigation for COVID-19, except for compassionate care situations (coordinated with unit leadership).
Please do not visit our facilities if you have any of the following symptoms, have had contact with someone suspected or confirmed to have COVID-19 within the past 14 days, have tested positive for COVID-19 or have been told to isolate due to possible COVID-19 infection in the past 14 days.

We are pleased to offer indoor visitation at our four Long Term Care Facilities. All our facilities have worked diligently to ensure all residents have been given the opportunity to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. 在这个时候, there are no restrictions on the number of visitors unless social distancing cannot be maintained. In semi-private rooms, residents may be allowed two visitors at one time. Other designated indoor visitation areas and outdoor visitation areas may allow residents to have additional visitors at one time. Each facility has set specific visitation hours.
